As a Division of the Royal Motor Yacht Club on the shores of beautiful Pittwater the Sailing Division promotes sailing and racing events in Pittwater and other east coast waterways.

We are the yacht racing enthusiasts of the Club and stage mixed fleet yacht races throughout the year to test your boat handling, seamanship and navigation skills.

Our comprehensive sailing programme for racers, racer cruisers and cruiser racers offers more than 100 non spinnaker and spinnaker around-the-buoy races a season.

On Friday afternoons what better way to end the week than through sociable competition in the "Chicken Run", in which every entrant is rewarded with a chicken!

Sunday racing from September to April has events for novice and experienced crews alike on the beautiful Pittwater and Broken Bay waterways.

For blue water sailors there is an Offshore Series for yachts holding a current Cat 3 & 4 Equipment Audit Form.

From October to April you can take part in probably the largest twilight racing fleet in the Southern Hemisphere. Our "no extras" Monday Twilight series regularly attracts around 100 entrants competing in several Divisions.

A series of races including the Three Islands Race and the Brooklyn Bash with Gosford, Hawkesbury and Avalon Sailing Clubs helps promote friendship and rivalry.

A short Winter Series, Ladies Skippers' Race, picnic and Fun Under the Sun Series provide further opportunities for friendly camaraderie.
