Lock Crowther was regarded as a pioneer of multihull yacht design.
We recognise his dedication to the development of the modern multihull and honour him with a "memorial" regatta.
The Lock Crowther Regatta has been hosted by the RMYC since 1994 and offers multihull owners competitive racing for "grand prix" multis as well as cruising boats.

For the sixth year running apc Logistics, a major Australian-based international freight forwarding company, has signed on as principal and title sponsor of the 2011 event to be sailed on Pittwater Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2011
Included again is a "warm-up" Blue Water Classic ocean race on Friday 30 September for Safety Category 4 equipped boats. This will be separate from the overall Regatta pointscore.
In addition, Seawind Catamarans is again providing generous support for the regatta social program and prize pool helping to make this a memorable event not to be missed.
All this for only $120 entry fee!
