At RMYC, our purpose is to provide a vibrant and friendly club environment for our members and guests with a focus on recreational boating. We are proud of our award winning marina and club facilities situated in the beautiful Broken Bay, Newport.

To deliver our purpose, we have 100 employees who work together as ‘one team’. Each team members uses their specialised skills and abilities to provide excellent service across all areas of our club, from the marina, to the bar, restaurants, reception, memberships, functions, marketing, finance and human resources.

Our team members are passionate about RMYC and we want to see each and every one of them succeed in their roles. We work together in making the environment enjoyable not just for members and guests, but also for the employees (our team members).

We recognise and reward the effort of a ‘standout’ team member every month with our ‘Royal Legend’ award.

We encourage team members to bring new ideas to RMYC and seek to ensure continuous improvement is a goal of not just the club, but of every team member.

At RMYC, our commitment extends beyond our members, guests and employees  to encompass the wider community. We are proud to have a long-standing relationship with Cure Cancer Australia. Every year, our members, guests and employees join forces to raise and donate thousands of dollars annually to this worthy cause. We are also proud to support smaller, local charities throughout the year where we can.
