RMYC Broken Bay offers that relaxed “ feel-good” vibe and natural positive energy. We are a club of camaraderie catering to a diverse community of cruising, sailing, racing, fishing and social events & activities. We believe in the spirit of kinship and welcome both those who want to socialise and enjoy the club's atmosphere, along with the boating community.
Our Purpose
At RMYC, our purpose is to provide a vibrant and friendly Club environment for our members and guests with a focus on recreational boating. We are proud of our award winning marina and Club facilities situated in the beautiful Broken Bay, Newport. To deliver our purpose, we have over 100 employees who work together as ‘one team’. Each team member uses their specialised skills and abilities to provide excellent service across all areas of our Club, from the marina, to the bar, restaurant, reception, memberships, functions, marketing, finance and human resources. We are all passionate and do the right thing by the Club and its members.

We aim to provide a world class recreational club for its members and guests, both on and off the water, depending on your skills, experience, and interests, we offer opportunities ranging from: Marina Attendants, Front and Back of House wait staff, Function staff, Administration and Office. We also offer the opportunity to cross-skill across departments to build your skills and experience.

Our team members are passionate about RMYC and we want to see each and every one of them succeed in their roles. We work together to make the environment enjoyable not just for our members and guests, but also for employees (our team members).Along with other reward and recognition programs we offer, or "RoyalPerks" we like to say, every month, we reward and recognise the effort of a team member with our 'Royal Legend' award.
